Although I will try hard to do a careful proofread of every blog entry before posting, inevitably some typos etc. will make it through this process. I hope you will excuse me for this, and will not take it as a sign that my views are unworthy of attention, that I would not be a good president, etc. This blog only began on 9/13/08, I alone will be posting and revising material on this blog, and so getting a lot down before Election Day takes priority over absolutely making sure I remove every typo, etc.
If, in any blog entry, you notice a typo or anything else you can reasonably presume I did not intend to include, feel free to let me know by posting a comment on that blog entry.

evolution and modification of the blog
This blog began 9/13/08, and will very much be a work in continual progress until Election Day.
Not only will the blog grow, but changes will be made as I acquire more and more empirically relevant information, as I work out some of my views, as I think of better ways to articulate what I have to say, and as I think of better ways to organize the blog. Unfortunately, at least when it comes to revision of individual blog entries, there is no easy and efficient way to notify my blog readers of this (at least given how often I presently envisioned this occurring). I apologize to you for this, and simply encourage you to keep coming back to read and re-read.
ADDED 9/16/08:
I have realized that, although I don't have the time to keep my readers apprised of revisions and additions to blog entries in some central location, I can very easily, within blog entries themselves, note by date any revisions and additions. So, barring the cases where I forget (hopefully none, but presumably inevitably a few), this is what I shall do from now on.

I actually now think that it won't be that hard to keep my readers apprised of significant updates and additions to already existing blog entries. I will do this via a blog entry entitled "updates and additions" in a new category "updates".

As of 9/14/08, I am organizing this blog using the categories below. Check the "label" tags on blog entries, these labels being organized alphabetically near the upper right of the blog.
Basics - intro material to myself, why I am running, general discussion of why one might want to vote for me, guiding fundamental moral and political views, etc.
Issues - discussion of my views on particular issues
Commentaries - thoughts on various things, mostly media items such as books, magazine articles, things I hear on video clips, etc. (hopefully these will help to see how I think and where I stand on various issues)
Administration - thoughts on how I would organize my administration
[ADDED 9/16/08: I've realized that I will probably write little, if anything, under this category. Since I obviously have no real shot at winning, I'm primarily focused on getting votes from those who think I have a good perspective on politics and political issues, one worth supporting through votes. I'm less focuses on getting votes from those who think I would actually be a good president (though I, of course, am happy to get such votes as well). Still, here and there I will also include things in support of the claim that I would be a good president. That's both because I think it's true, and because I also have the thought that maybe, after many election cycles, my running and continuing to run for president might someday actually give me a real shot.]
Interaction strategies - thoughts on what strategies I would employ as president when interacting with various kinds of individual and organizations: US citizens generally (mostly via various kinds of informational speeches), the media (of various sorts), Congress (including members with similar views to my own and those with very different views), other federal political bodies (FEMA, EPA, CIA, GAO, etc.), representatives of private partisan political organizations, individual experts on politically relevant subject matters, foreign leaders of all kinds, etc.
Campaign - notes on donations, volunteering, other sources of campaign info, any campaign events or speeches (if such come to pass), etc.
Blog organization - notes, like this one, on how the blog is organized, how the blog will change over time, and how to use it to find out what you're interested in

I have now added a category "updates", which will contain a single entry "updates and additions", which will list, by date, significant updates and additions to already existing blog entries.
I have now also added a category "flyers", where I will put some of my flyers.

I have now added a category "comments", which will contain a single entry "comments", which will list, by date, all comments I make on my own posts. I will do this as a way of responding to others who post comments, though how quickly I do this in any given case will be a function of many factors.
